                                               So today we will talk about KIZHI ISLAND

Kizhi Island is a small, yet remarkable island located in Lake Onega in the Republic of Karelia, Russia. The island's main attraction is the architectural ensemble of the Kizhi Pogost, which consists of two impressive wooden structures—the Church of the Transfiguration and the Church of the Intercession.

It stands tall with its twenty-two onion domes, intricately carved details, and unique construction without the use of a single nail. The Church of the Intercession, also known as the Winter Church, complements its counterpart with its more modest size but equally stunning craftsmanship.
