                                              So today we will talk about LOTUS TEMPLE

The Lotus Temple, also known as the Bahá'í House of Worship, is a renowned architectural marvel located in New Delhi, India. This breathtaking structure stands out for its unique lotus flower-inspired design and serves as a place of worship for people of all religions.

Designed by Iranian Canadian architect Fariborz Sahba, the Lotus Temple was completed in 1986. Its shape resembles a lotus blossom, with 27 white marble petals arranged in clusters of three, forming nine sides. The temple is surrounded by nine reflective pools, which enhance the beauty of the building and provide a tranquil ambiance.

The Lotus Temple is open to people from all walks of life, irrespective of their beliefs or religious affiliations. It promotes the principle of unity and aims to foster peace and understanding among different religions. Visitors can enter the temple's central hall, which can accommodate up to 2,500 people, and spend time in silent contemplation or engage in prayer and meditation.

The temple's architectural splendor, coupled with its serene atmosphere, attracts millions of visitors each year. It has become an iconic landmark of Delhi and a symbol of India's rich cultural diversity. The Lotus Temple stands as a testament to the country's commitment to religious harmony and serves as a reminder of the importance of mutual respect and acceptance in today's world.
