                                              So today we will talk about MACHU PICCHU

Machu Picchu is a magnificent archaeological site located in the Andes Mountains of Peru. It is often referred to as the "Lost City of the Incas" and is one of the most iconic and breathtaking ancient cities in the world.

Built around the 15th century, Machu Picchu is situated on a ridge between two mountain peaks and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Its impressive stone structures, terraces, and intricate engineering demonstrate the advanced architectural skills of the Inca civilization.

The purpose of Machu Picchu remains a mystery, but many believe it served as a royal estate for the Inca emperor Pachacuti. The site was abandoned and remained hidden from the outside world until its rediscovery in 1911 by American explorer Hiram Bingham.

Today, Machu Picchu attracts thousands of visitors each year who come to marvel at its beauty and immerse themselves in its rich history. The site was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983 and is also considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

To preserve its delicate structures and natural environment, access to Machu Picchu is regulated, and visitors are encouraged to follow sustainable tourism practices. Exploring the ruins, hiking the Inca Trail, and experiencing the mystical aura of Machu Picchu is an unforgettable adventure for travelers from all over the globe.
